Mingo Rose embarks on a journey to the country to capture photos of South Carolina’s state symbols for a quilt project. She photographs a variety of state symbols, including a white-tailed deer, wild turkey, striped bass, praying mantis, a mule, fields of Goldenrod, and finally, an amethyst. Her adventure highlights the peaceful beauty of the countryside and the diversity of the state’s flora and fauna. Upon returning, she shares her excitement about the photos and the beauty they will add to their quilt, making it a memorable day.
