The Making of Annabelle’s Animated Content

It was back in January 2021 when Rhonda Leonard came to our team with the Annabelle project. The world of Annabelle and her friends, the coglo amigos, are featured in Rhonda’s book series designed to help kids learn to read, by making it fun!

It pretty quickly became apparent that this was perhaps more than just the book project they had envisioned. It became very clear that there should be an Annabelle cartoon, perhaps an animated series, and that’s what we set out to create.

Our animation team formed a world where characters come to life to teach children how to learn, solve problems and ultimately to work together without the divisions of politics, ideologies and agendas.

One of our first milestones was achieved when our animated series started airing on South Carolina’s PBS stations…
This led to Annabelle and her friends finding a place within our state’s educational system which started with successful tests that incorporated Annabelle learning materials together with classroom curriculum – specifically created by a team of educational experts.

We’re excited about the message that Annabelle and the Coglo Amigos deliver to children. From colorful books to vibrant plush toys, art, and more, and we look forward to bringing this project across the United States, With Annabelle and The Coglo Amigos encoraging children to always be their best.
